Stephenville Crossing is located on the West
Coast of Canada's mostly Easterly Province, Newfoundland and Labrador. Our province is comprised of the island of Newfoundland and the mainland region of Labrador. In total, the province spans 405,720 kilometres (158,484 miles).
Travelling to Newfoundland and Labrador is easy because the province has eight federally regulated airports, two with international status, providing travelers with convenient access to all regions of the province. The airport at Stephenville is a short 15 minute drive from Stephenville Crossing.
We have two major ferry links connecting the island with the Trans Canada Highway (TCH), North Sydney to Port aux Basques and North Sydney to Argentia. The two, superferry system, gives travellers the opportunity to enter the island at one location and exit at the other.

Stephenville Crossing is just a two hour drive on the Trans Canada Highway East from Port Aux Basques, where you will exit onto Route 490. At the Eastern end of the island, is the ferry service from Nova Scotia to Argentia. Stephenville Crossing is approximately 8 hours West of the Argentia Terminal. Labrador is linked to the rest of Canada directly via the Trans Labrador Highway and also by a ferry from St. Barbe on the Northern Pennisula to Blanc SaBlon near the Quebec-Labrador border.
The rugged beauty of Newfoundland's coastline and unspoiled wilderness blend casually with the modern conveniences found in any North American town. You can find more detailed information for traveling to Newfoundland at the site below.
