Trans Canada Trail

Every day Canadians from all walks of life are using the longest recreational Trail in the world. The Trans Canada Trail when fully complete will cover 18,078 Kilometers, of shared-use trail. The trail will accommodate five core activities: walking, cycling, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.

In Stephenville Crossing the Trail passes directly through the town and can be accessed in several areas. Residents and visitors alike use the trail in each season, for snowmobling, all terrain vehicle use(outside town limits), berry picking, hiking, cycling, and bird watching. The photos below show some of the trail in use.
